The Southwest Florida Film and Television Academy was established by CTN-10 Television as a resource center for media content planning, creation, and distribution. “Our mission is to inspire and train 21st century communicators by providing students with the skills it takes to produce quality film and video products, both individually and in small groups,” says Paul Lodato, CTN-10 General Manager. “We are excited about having Dr. Ted Baehr taking the keynote roll in the launch of the academy.”

In Baehr’s two-hour presentation, entitled “Using and Influencing the Media for the Good, the True, and the Beautiful,” he will show attendees how to harness the influence of the media with successful strategies for producing uplifting films and television programming.

Designed specifically for pastors, media producers, business leaders, film producers, and anyone who uses media to convey a message to our culture, the seminar will be held from 9:15-11:30am on Monday, September 15, at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, 2301 First Street in Fort Myers.
